Word Slams?

Wait, what's a word slam? Sometimes unplanned, but most of the time guest-requested rap battles. Stop by one Friday or join our Discord and ask us for a slam, and we can schedule it for you!But how do I slam? Three rounds. Two minutes per person per round. No pre-writing your bars -- it has to come straight off the dome. Rhyming not required. It doesn't have to be combative, but it can be fun! Three judges will decide the winner. Why are you doing this?
It's really, really fun to rap battle about Eorzean topics.
In-universe, word slamming is a Dotharli tradition that Sarnai was keen to bring with her when she moved to Eorzea -- a verbal sparring match just as electrifying as a physical battle can be.
